About the Provider
My name is Tyra. I am the owner and provider of Higgs Family Daycare. As a state of Maryland licensed childcare provider, my home is safe and free of hazards for the safety of your child. It also means that I am CPR and First Aid certified. Additionally, I participate in continuing education workshops to develop skills and knowledge to provide better childcare services for you and your child.
I have first-hand experience working with children between the ages of birth to 10 years old in several different capacities. I’ve worked as a home daycare provider since July 2007.
Most importantly, I am raising a healthy11 year old son (5 years in the picture), Kyle, who is very intelligent, well-mannered and has a lot of energy. I am very proud of my son and know he will always be proud of me knowing that I am a positive influence in his life. I enjoy working with children and look forward to providing a safe, loving, and fun home daycare environment.
